Gloria brought her young daughter to me for various reasons. Her daughter Ashley had many anxieties; huge self-imposed anxiety over ‘being perfect’ in school to not being able to sleep in her own bed.
I apologize I have not contacted you sooner. I was led to contact you today. Ashley is doing very well. She ended up going to that sleepover and having a great time without worrying about school which was a big step for her. She really enjoyed your session with her as you could tell she didn’t want to leave. I am so glad she was able to talk so freely and openly to someone else besides me about her experiences. What an eye opener! She said she really felt like it helped her and I think the fact that you said there was a cure to the anxiety once you found the root really resonated with her. The dandelion (*Garry: I use a Dandelion Metaphor to understand how anxieties ‘blossom’) was such a great example. The whole session was so fascinating, to see how we retain memories in our subconscious like that. Amazing! Right now my husband is in job transition so he just asked that I wait to make an appointment till the smoke clears so to speak which I am hoping will be soon. I know Ashley and I are both interested in working with you in the future and any classes you may have coming up. It was such a pleasure to talk with you, your wisdom and counsel is conveyed with such love and compassion. To be able to have that trust and know with every sense of my being that this experience is in the highest good of my child…It means so much really especially for someone with trust issues of her own. I just really wanted to thank you!
Looking forward to the next time we talk!
Toni is the mother of a 20 year old man with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome since he was 10, my 20 year old son has worked with several psychologists for years without making any strides at all in accepting himself or developing any sense of optimism for having a “normal life.” His first one in-depth session with you, Garry, has made more inroads into unraveling my son’s social and personal challenges and the pain he’s experienced with school bullies, than many, many years of psychotherapy. I only wish I had thought outside the box and found you years ago. Thank you so much for your dedication to your field and the hope you’ve brought back to my son and, really, my entire family.
Look forward to James’ next appointment!
Until then, our very warmest regards.
Alex is a Middle school student who was having anger management issues at school.
How are you? Alex started school today! He was nervous but smiling.
I have a good feeling that he’ll do fine! He certainly looked great
with his new hair cut and clothes! I’ll send you a picture once I download it.
Please don’t forget to use me as a reference. You can use this e-mail.
The parent can e-mail me their phone number and I will call them in the
evening to answer whatever questions they may have about Alex’s experience
with you. I will make the time to look at your new website too and add a
blurb of my own. If you could also send me the dates to your next group
sessions to this e-mail too, I’d greatly appreciate it. At least then I
know I will receive them!
Take care, Garry! And again, thank-you!!!
Mary’s daughter, Samantha is a High School Athlete who benefited from hypnosis for sports performance; Mary wanted to see if hypnosis could help with a fear of driving.
Just wanted to give you an update on Sam. She has practiced and or played 3x since she hurt her knee and had been hypnotized.
Her father said at practice she was back on track and did extremely well. Her first game, two gentlemen from an AAU team in Newark tried to recruit her to their team.
On Sunday, the head coach of Sparta High School approached my husband and her about playing for him in a year.
We think she is very excited and happy to be back. We are letting her do her thing . . .
I probably need to come back and see you. I’m better but not 100%. I am more interested in knowing if you can help our son in any way who is Dyslexic and has dysgraphia. I think you said you are dyslexic. We are fighting with our school district to get a certified Wilson instructor to teach him or get an out of district placement to Craig to help him. If hypnosis can help him that would be great.
Sheila is the Director of the Performing Arts Department at Somerset County Vocational Technical High School and asked if I could work with her student that had performance anxiety.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help as a performance coach for Jackie. Her performance during the play was lovely and she was not nervous or showed not a sign of the “Stage Fright” that held her back from performing at the level she is capable of. She said that this was the first time she actually enjoyed performing on stage. I could not believe that there could be such an immediate positive change in her attitude towards her ability to perform on stage in only one hypnotic session. We all knew she had the talent, now she is able to exhibit it.
I know that you had to re-arrange your schedule to accommodate our performance and I truly appreciate your help.
Once again, Thank you.
Alene’s son, Alex was having anxiety at school. He benefited greatly from only one session.
I have been thinking about how well Alex is doing since his visit. When I talk to people with issues similar, I give your name and number.
I hope all is well with you.
